Today my eleven year old son and his two friends had raw eggs and ketchup thrown at them from some Immature Adults in a white van/minibus, whilst walking home from school along the Haslemere Road. I have reported the incident to the police as I\'m sure that if it had been the children throwing eggs and ketchup at the Immature Adults they would have done the same.
What really has annoyed me is that one of the Immature Adults lives on the Haslemere Road and one day will proberly have his own children walking to and from school in the village. I wonder how he would feel if an Immature Adult were to throw eggs at his children?

I suggest you name and shame these people, as there are a lot of us who have kids doing this walk. Not a very nice individual by the sounds of it! Hope something is done about it.

Hope the children have not been frightened by this bullying incident. Have the police managed to track them down? Pity we don't still have the stocks so they could get a taste of their own medicine from the rest of the community!
am sorry to hear about those 2 poor kids.
why on earth would someone want to throw things at kids who are just minding there own business.
scum is what the two adults are who done this.
i hope these thugs are named and shamed.
and they should be put in to the center of liphook to be jeered and have things thrown at them.

This happened to a couple of friends and myself walking down London road on the 19th of June - and from the description it sounds like it was probably the same guys. Really really annoying having to clean ketchup out from my clothes.
Name and shame these guys of you know who the are, why would anyone do this? Completely pointless and immature.

Wendy, Please name these idiots if you know who they are. These people think that there is no consequences for their actions and there should be. It really irritates me that these people think it's ok to act this way which is bullying and intimidating young children. I assume the police were not informed? Let the community know who they are and then at least the rest of us can shame them. Liphook is a nice place to live but it won't stay that way if we allow this kind of thing to happen. What with the coward who attacked a primary school child on his way home recently this behaviour should be stamped out!
Unfortunatley i do not know the names of the people involved, but we did report it to the police along with their vehicle registration. The police tracked them down to a firm in Portsmouth and have had \'WORDS\' with them. So hopefully they will now \'grow-up\' and it won\'t happpen again to anyone else.
