Bordon tip - Thea (24th Jun 2012 - 17:04:10) I am researching an article on mums like me who go to the tip a lot as a necessity because we can't manage with a fortnightly household waste collection. I would have to dig a hole in the garden for all the excess nappies etc otherwise. In actual fact, the tip has proved to be useful as a 'swop shop'. At Bordon, you can pick up recycled kids toys, rabbit hutches, working prams and just about everything else. It seems to be quite a popular rendezvous for hard working mums (and dads) who appreciate not spending a fortune on a garden slide and can also drop off stuff that their own kids have grown out of.
