Do you require, garden Help???
- lee (22nd Jun 2012 - 18:14:03)

DO YOU REQUIRE GARDEN HELP?
Hello, and Thank-you, for taking a few minutes to read this!
My name is Lee, and I live in, Bramshott, I am looking for work, to earn money, to help with the costs, for my last year of college.
I have gained qualifications in the following Gardening Catergories:
BTEC level 1 Horticulture
BTEC level 2 Horticulture
I have just completed, BTEC level 2 in Countryside Management, and have enrolled, onto the course of BTEC Level 3, in Countryside Management, due to start in September and I would like to do a course, to gain my Chainsaw Licence, but need to earn money, to fund these courses.
Certificates can be provided, of Qualifications already earned, including school qulaifications.
I have 200+ hours of work experience, with the National Trust.
I am hard-working, and keen to earn money, to gain these extra Qualifications, and hopefully, start my own business, in years to come.
Please contact me on, if you feel you can use my services: 07547901848/01428 722304

What is your hourly rate?

Hi Dave

I am happy enough, to come to you, and show you my Qualifications, and sort out what you would like done, then we can discuss an hourly rate.
Thanks Lee

An hourly rate being shown does strike me as as a good idea, as I may be interested, but if the price is not easily available I tend to go elsewhere. And for the record if I am fixing computers, I charge £40 per hour!

Hi

im an 18 year old lad, trying to get through college!,...i dont really have an hourly rate,....i would consider, what every hourly rate, you have to offer,.....but i have someone, who offered me 8.50 per hour, and i was over the moon , with that!

Thanks

Lee

I would like to congratulate you on your ‘get up and go’. All too often as adults we moan about our errant teenagers not pulling their collective weight – and it is wonderful to hear the opposite is also true.

I know that getting to and from college is a nightmare from Passfield and Liphook. My son attended Guildford College at the Merrist Wood campus. There is no direct bus or train and it took in over an hour and a half to get there every morning via Aldershot! The transport costs alone are extortionate.

The fact that you have addressed the situation in such a positive way is a fantastic reflection of your attitude and I hope that lots of local people will decide that they can’t be bothered to trim their hedge or mow their lawn after all - and give you a ring.

Well done.

Thank you Dawn

It is Merrist wood, that i have been at for 2 years and will attend, next school year, as long as i can earn, my travelling costs

...which i have to say, is looking very promising!

thanks again
Lee

Assuming you do not drive, can I suggest a cycle to Liphook station and then a cycle to the college. About a mile and a half to Liphook and from memory the college is not very far (maybe three miles?). Bonus effect, you will stay fitter!

Re: Do you require, garden Help???

Hi
Yes, that is how i travel to Merrist wood,..cycle from Bramshott to Liphook station, Train to Guildford, then on Dry days, Cycle to Merrist wood, about 4 Miles, but in the winter months, i get the bus from Guildford Bus station, to Merrist wood.

so most days i do on average, a 10 mile round trip, and yes,..it sure does keep me fit!
Thanks
Lee
