It is National Carers week starting Monday 18th June and the Liphook PPG are holding a Carers Coffee Morning for Carers and the people they care for. Why not can come along for a coffee and a chat and also get information for any help that is available and to meet others in the role as a Carer. There are a lot of Carers who struggle on their own to cope with sick relatives or friends so please come along to the Carers Coffee morning on Monday 18th June 10a.m.-Noon at the Peak Centre to get information leaflets and details of support groups that can help. So often a Carer would like just a few hours to themselves to go shopping or go to the hairdressers-there are groups that can offer help coming to the house and spending time with the person you care for to give you a break. All information will be available at the Coffee morning which is being held in conjunction with National Carers week so please join us.Further details from Liphook Village Surgery 01428-728270

Just to bring this up to the top again and to remind everyone that it is National Carers week as from Monday 18th June and if you are a Carer or know a relative friend or neighbour who is please come along to the Coffee morning at the Peak Centre on Monday 10a.m.-noon where information can be given about different help that is available for Carers and also enjoy a coffee and a chat. Just to thank everyone who attended the Carers get to-gether Coffee morning today. It was nice to see not only Carers but some of the people they care for at the event.The Carers Group meet on a regular basis once a month.The first Monday at The Peak Centre 7p.m. -9p.m. and the first Wednesday 10-Noon at the Millenium Hall. The group was formed by the PPG of the Liphook Village Surgery and gives a chance to meet up and get support on various problems and items which cause concern when being a Carer so a worthwhile meeting to attend. Many thanks also to Sainsbury's who kindly provided the refreshments and Staff who came along and helped in promoting National Carers week with us.Thank you.

Good morning
I am from Saga Homecare based in Liphook and an enquiring as to whether you would allow us to attend one of you carers get togethers in order to introduce ourselves and to provide details of our services and promotional freebies, i.e pens, mugs, fridge magnets etc.
Many of our clients are main carers looking after family members, who require respite or a helping hand from time to time so I thought this maybe a useful visit.
