Charity Business Advice Night - FAB Liphook (15th May 2012 - 14:54:35) The 2nd FAB (Free Advice for Business) event is on Thursday 24th May from 4-7pm at 10 London Road. This is a free advice & support clinic for small business owners and start-ups in Liphook. The panel of Liphook-based specialists will offer free advice and training to anyone looking to start their own business or who already run their own small to medium enterprise. The FAB team are offering their time and knowledge for free in return for donations to Kestrel Kids Trust, a local charity that supports young children in the area. A raffle with prizes offered by local businesses will also raise funds for the charity. Advice is given on banking, accountancy, social media, brand promotion, insurance, vehicle leasing, cloud computing, financial planning and other disciplines with no obligations. A huge thanks to all those who have donated to the raffle in aid of Kestrel Kids Trust. Prizes include a spa day for two at the Georgian House in Haslemere, artwork, £50 voucher for social media training, an introductory month's membership to Sustainable Travel, vouchers for consultancy on cloud computing for businesses, bottle of something nice and more pizes being added all the time. The idea is to come along if you are a start-up business, work from home or you are an established SME business and get free advice on the night from a panel of local professionals. On the night will be support on accountancy, tax and Sage, advice on promotional material, effective promotion of your business through social media, working more efficiently using cloud computing, vehicle renting, business insurance and banking and loans. We can also involve others from the wider FAB network, including web design, cost comparison and pensions and group life cover. The advice given on the night is free but entering the charity raffle will give you the opportunity to win one of these great prizes. We look forward to seeing you there.
