used the place in Rake a few times next to the school seemed OK good rates and selection of vans

The motor sales outfit by Rake school hires out vans. Last time I used them they provided agood service at a reasonable price.

Hmmm. Used them once. Cheap. But very poor quality vehicle. Barely roadworthy. So whether they're any good depends what you want it for.

Try http://www.mvfvehiclehire.co.uk/ at Rake. Reliable guy. I used their services last month when I was moving home. Charges you £50 a day for(8.00am till 08.00am next day) a transit van.The other alternative is Bagshot Lea self drive http://www.blvh.co.uk/. They have more choices of vehicle ancosts are competitive, if you donot mind travelling 15miles to that place.
