Millennium Hall - christian powell (7th Nov 2002 - 17:16:13) I agree with my honourable friend Mr J Lush, however it seems to me that the parish council have got bored with there council offices and wish to have something for nothing, I.e. A new building courtsey of the local public of liphook. Why is that after several years of sucsess running the hall from day one, the parish council think they can walk into and take over the running of the building and to rubbish all the hard work the trustees have done for the hall and for the local community of liphhok. It also sounds to me that after seven years the parish council are so disjointed with various parish clerks and even more parish council chairman trying to run the local council, they would not have a clue in running such wonderfull building. Also why are the parish councillors allegeding that errors have been found in the accounts? Is it to try and rubbish the trustees so they can have the hall for free, Why not talk to each other and work togeather. One final point what will happen to the local parish council office, will it lay empty or get sold off for housing? I wonder
