Builder to reopen old fireplace wanted - Sue (4th May 2012 - 13:31:08) Looking for a competent and reliable builder, to reopen an old fireplace, make it bigger and provide an excellent finish, with a wooden lintel. That has shown to be good value for money. Anyone who has had this type of work completed, and is happy with the overall job, ie; reliability,quality of work, and professionalism, and that can recommend, we would love to hear from you. Re: Builder to reopen old fireplace wanted - gina (13th May 2012 - 21:36:19) Hi sorry, for the delay in replying!, been away! but yes,..i have had many projects, completed by Glen,..namely making my open fireplace, into a smaller brick fireplace, with log burner!,..a indian sandstone patio, with brick seating, a retaining brick wall, and various other property maintaining jobs.....extremely high standards, and very friendly, also based local, which is a bonus! hope this helps!
