Diamond Jubilee tea party

Can someone explain to me why people under 60 aren't able to go the the Jubilee celebration. Surely we should be encouraging younger people to embrace our monarchy and celebrate our nationality, not exclude them?

Because that one is an over 60s tea party? It is hosted by age concern... I guess the idea is that elderly people who maybe live alone or are less able to get out and about have a place to go and celebrate the jubilee....
I think there is another party being planned though possibly? As Ben Lawrence was considering being good enough to take on the planning for it.
