It was an absolute honour to attend the Pride of Liphook awards. The presentation, delivery and organisation of the event were fantastic. To see and hear about all of the dedicated people in our community and what they have done over so many years for us was truely humbling. To see such people given recognition for what they do day in day out was an inspirational idea. Beth thank you for the joy and happiness you and your team brought to so many of our local heroes.

Hi
Thank you Peter for your kind words. The evening was a tremendous success, and all nominees and winners deserve to be warmly congratulated.
For those who missed it, the overall winners were Rebecca Weighell, Youth Award, Liphook in Bloom, Group Award, Bob & Anne Hall Individual Award and Jan & Tony Roles who received the Frank Conroy Lifetime Service Award. Every nominee was a deserving winner, so all nominees received an award, and the winners also received a small gift. Mr John Wheeley a trustee of Hounds for Heroes presented the awards.
Pride of Liphook was very much a team event. I had 10 wonderful judges, 30 different nominees, and generosity from Five Petals, Tescos and the Gurkha Chautauri. Ben Lawrence and Denis Foster masterminded the event itself, and my family were supportive and helpful at every turn.
I would like to thank everyone who made the time to nominate, all who offered to help and support, and gave up time and energy to make it happen. Mostly though, I'd like to thank all the nominees who have all played their part in making Liphook a better place to live and work.
Beth

A big thank you Beth for organising the Pride of Liphook Awards both Bob and I were very touched to receive such a prestigious award and thank everyone who nominated us. Liphook is a very special place to live and we feel the award goes to all the people in the village who always give support so freely with anything that we do. Thank you!!
Congratulations also to the other award winners who were also nominated and received an award.
