Casual Employment - Dave (21st Apr 2012 - 17:25:15) I sometimes need an assistant on photographic assignments, Weddings, Military Balls, etc. If you, or someone you know, may be interested please contact me via email info@the-photographer.biz. Work is normally Friday, Saturday or Sunday. Applicants will need to be at least 18 years of age, immaculate appearance, well spoken and numerate. No knowledge of photography is required.

Re: Casual Employment - Dave (8th Jun 2012 - 16:41:09) It has surprised and somewhat disappointed me that my offer of work only produced 2 responses, both from ladies who could not fit in with the necessary times. I would have thought that senior Bohunt and 6th Form college students would be keen to earn some extra cash but obviously I was wrong. I suppose the upside is that everyone locally has no need for exta cash!

Re: Casual Employment - Beth (9th Jun 2012 - 10:09:50) Hi Dave You may be being a little unfair on students who in their senior years at Bohunt and at college are currently a little snowed under with the pressure of exams. Maybe it shows a litle maturity that they are putting their study first? They also tend to be committed to either school or college and unable to work on Fridays - something that is very important to you. Perhaps you'll have more success after the exam season has ceased? Beth

Re: Casual Employment - Ellis (16th Jun 2012 - 16:02:23) Dave, If you are looking for a young student or sixth former you are probably looking on the wrong forum as the main clientelle is homeowners/adults living in the village. Secondly, you also didn't say the work was out of term time, it would be a fair assumption that it would be. Thirdly, I do hope you find someone, of whatever age, but if you try directly contacting schools or colleges they can often either reccomend a student or advertise the position to their students, this occurs often at my college.
