Learning Sign Language

am planning to learn British Sign Language.
The nearest place I can find so far is in Woking, which is a bit of a treck.
Does anyone know of anything closer?
I am also looking to find a local person who can practice with me - or evan a competent signer who han help. Do you know of anyone?
Any info would be good.

Hi, not sure if they still do it, but I did a BSL course at cowplain a few years ago which is only down the road. If you want my email address then I'm happy for Alan to pass it on! Helen :)

for extra practice you can use signstation, everything on their site is free and very user friendly
