Liphook local plan and more housing

Not heard anything about the local plan for a while. Meanwhile I notice there is an application to build 13 houses on the industrial site opposite Countrywide (at the back of Station Rd).

Liphook local plan preparation is still going strong. The draft reports are now being put together and will be ready for public consultation before the summer.
The local plan covers more than just housing - it all covers infrastructure, age and disability concerns, employment, sports, education, the hamlets, the environment and virtually anything which Liphook as a community might be able to deal with under the new Localism Bill.
There is a meeting in the Millenium Hall this Tuesday 17 April starting at 6.30 pm under the EHDC Community Forum. I understand planning will be on the agenda. Everyone is welcome to attend.
