Clubs in Liphook
- gemma (31st Mar 2012 - 21:26:37)
I'm due to move to Liphook shortly, and am looking at various clubs / volunteering in the local area. I just wondered if anyone could recommend any they currently participate in? Particularly sports such as tennis, swimming, running etc or photography?
Thanks.

A good place to start would be the Liphook Community Magazine which features two pages of clubs, organisations and associotions in and around Bramshott and Liphook. It will also give you a flavour of the people and character of the village.
Copies are available from the Parish Council Office in the Midhurst Road or you could telephone between 10-00 and 1.00pm or 2.00 to 4.00pm Monday to Friday on 01428 722988 and someone will post you a copy.
Welcome to Liphook.

Dear Gemma,
I am fundraiser for the Liphook scouts, cubs and beavers and we are having a spring fair on the 28th April.
If, when you are packing up to move, you have any odds and ends you want to get rid of then could you think of the scouts please. We need things for the raffle, bottle stall, damaged china for smash the china, toys, and brick a brac. and pretty much anything else you can think of.
Many thanks.

Hi Gemma - are you interested in yoga? I do a yoga class at the Liphook Village Hall on Thursday evening at 7.15 if you'd like to give it a try.

Running - a friend runs with Haslemere Border Athletic who seem well organised (I don't do running but from what he says it seems good!).

Hi Gemma - no problem being a beginner. I go through the postures deliberately so that you can stop wherever you feel is enough for you. And all ages and genders come.
If you want to try it, I have a mat you can use. If you continue, you will need a mat and I have a new one (blue) for £10 or you can buy them on the net or in any sports shop from about £15 and up.
I'm in the business section on this site under "yoga" if you want to get in touch with any further questions.
I hope to meet you soon!
Melinda
