littering - Susie (29th Mar 2012 - 18:14:12) On my way home today at 4:20 I was just getting to the corner of Hill House Hill heading towards Liphook village when I saw a largish white CEG van (? was looking in my rear view mirror at the back of the van) heading out towards Passfield throw a tied up blue plastic bag FULL of rubbish out of the window, landing amongst the trees. I would have turned and chassed them down if I could of but there was a lot of traffic behind them and me. Anyone know where I can return their lost bag?

Re: littering - Jay W (29th Mar 2012 - 19:55:51) Isn't there a department at the local authority that will investigate - delve into the rubbish bag for clues etc? I'm sure I've seen it on a day time TV programme about fly tipping whilst recovering from an operation! I don't think it was just the after effects of the anesthetic. Or maybe we don't have such a dept. in our area.

Re: littering - sharon (31st Mar 2012 - 21:50:44) My husband and I were travelling out of the village today and noticed a mattress that had been dumped in the area of Hill House Hill. It is such a shame as we live in a lovely place and yet people continue to get away with ruining it and not being held accountable for their actions. I wonder how long this mattress will be there until someone resolves this continuing problem?
