Freeview again - b (22nd Mar 2012 - 17:36:26) Is anyone having problems? My parents have lost nearly all channels.

For a non digital television I purchased a Techisat box from PC world and managed to set this up myself with a scart lead which for a non technical person like me is a big achievement!

Re: Freeview again - Janet (22nd Mar 2012 - 22:59:34) If you're using a Freeview set-top box, you may need to get a new box now. We were fortunate that we were able to download some updates for ours over the internet, but you can't do that for all boxes, especially the older ones. A friend in Grayshott had, like you, lost all channels a week after switchover. He bought a new basic digibox today for £25 and now has all the channels back (and many tha he didn't receive before switchover), so is one happy bunny!
