Community Renewable Energy Supply

Hi,
I would love to hear from anyone in the Liphook/Haslemere community looked into investing personally, or as a whole community, in setting up a 'cooperative' initiative to find ways of tapping into potential sources of solar power and hydropower in the area? There are government grants available and the Cooperative organisation and Bank are also investing in supporting communities to develop their own power supplies in order to produce greener, cleaner and more sustainable energy.
