Peter, Paul and Mary's Brother - gwenda pate (24th Feb 2012 - 17:21:49) Four weeks tomorrow-24th. March- there will be concert by Peter, Paul and Mary's Brother in Liphook Village Hall at 7.30. This local group performed for us 18 months ago and were a sell out- and history seems to be repeating itself. They play amixture of music, but the emphasis is on folky and fun- especially fun. There will be a licensed bar and a sumptuous raffle. The prizes are exceptional with the usual champagne, chocolates,vouchers from local businesses and an amazing hamper of home made Women's Institute goodies. There are jams,marmaldes, cake, biscuits, fresh bread and many other items all made by members of Liphook WI. It will be an entertaining and fun filled evening, and a snip at £8 for a ticket.
