MARGARET WILSON COMMUNITY SPIRIT AWARD - Fay Boyett (8th Oct 2025 - 09:03:06) The Liphook Community Magazine is delighted to announce that the Judging Panel have agreed on the recipient for this year's award and they will receive their certificate and shield at the Magazine AGM on Monday 22nd October. The recipient and their nominators have been informed. We would like to thank the many people who took the time and effort to nominate people or groups for this award and we are sorry that many will be disappointed that their nominated person or group was not chosen this year. However, there was a lot of discussion to decide on the winner as all the nominations were worthy of being chosen, so please do not hesitate to renominate them next year. The panel did say that in assessing each nomination, some submissions were very short on detail making it harder to assess the true scale of the individuals contribution or the impact on the community.
