Looking for a local delivery of well rotted FYM for my veg beds..

I need about two builders bags full .. a small tipper load or similar amount for the autumn..

Any locals know of suppliers?

Not so much finding the manure but more a case of finding a farm in the first place. There were cows in the fields along Devil's Lane once but it was a very long time ago. There used to be a stables this end of Hogmoor Road but don't know if it's still there. There's been all these ridiculous laws about the transport of shi, oops, manure since then as well. Don't think you can transport it in an open trailer no more, you can fork a load into the back of your 4x4 but not in the shoe box sized open trailer behind. The amount of horses you see around here it shouldn't be a problem, try the stables on Headley Road or Hollywater Road. There's Bramshott Farm and well (again, if it's still there).

My first port of call would be the stables this end of Hogmoor Road, from here cross the Whitehill crossroads and it's along there on the left somewhere. Like I say with so many horses round here it must be feasible.

We normally prefer to obtain locally. For various reasons couldn't source in time this year and went with these people (based on a gardeners recommendation):

Have to say, they were excellent - would recommend, and we would use them again.
