Garden Shears - Eneida (20th Mar 2006 - 12:00:11) I've been trying to find someone who sharpens shears etc. without success. The Hardware Shop doesn't and don't know anybody who does. Useful suggestions would be much appreciated!! Eneida

Re: Garden Shears - Mike Grimes (25th Mar 2006 - 00:46:51) It may well be that a new pair of shears (made in China) costs less than it costs to sharpen an older quality product. However the hardware shop in Liphook does stock a grinding stone that used in conjunction with some 3-in-1 oil and some elbow grease (difficult to find these days) will sharpen your shears.
