England Womens Rugby
- Scott (30th Aug 2025  18:57:15)

Yessss!!! Well done Red roses๐Ÿ‘

Englands ladies through to the rugby world cup quarter finals... A fantastic result this afternoon. A bit of a drubbing for Samoa, but England deserved the win.

Fly your patriotic flags high and don't be shy.

I did catch a bit of the post match ramble yesterday, are FIVE self proclaimed experts on women's rugby really necessary?

Re: England Womens Rugby
- Scott (31st Aug 2025  08:59:28)

Yeah, agreed D... Thats why I don't watch pre or post game waffle in any sport. Too many talking heads. The games are good though.

Somebody posts something positive on Talkback...
a win for the England Women's Rugby Team...
huge congratulations to them....
and true to form, someone has to have a little moan about it - in this instance the coverage on TV!! Incredible.

Merely highlighting the waste of airtime, it's similar to when you did a three page essay at school. One page of good stuff and two pages of waffle to pad it out.

I know R.๐Ÿคฃ๐Ÿ‘
Crackers isn't it really.
The post was about the high energy excellent game and the fantastic spirit of the mostly amateur Samoans and their delight at 3 points kicked for a penalty and their first of the games.
I'm looking forward to the rest of the tournament and hopefull for an English ladies winners cup and medals.

Nothing to do with watching young women running around in shorts then? Of course not.

Re: England Womens Rugby
- Scott (31st Aug 2025  18:22:13)

Priceless!!! Last word Dxxxhead strikes again. Thats the level you're at is it? Grow up, if you are a grown up.
You definitely seem to have an outdated view of women judging by this and other topics you've chimed in on, have you a very small social circle I wonder?

Re: England Womens Rugby
- R (31st Aug 2025  19:00:06)

Wow D... not sure what you're trying to do with your comment?
Women play rugby and other sports really well and at international level... please don't demean their skill...
and assume why others enjoy watching women play sport.

I don't think I can be accused of demeaning women's sport after Chloe Kelly took her top off and ran round the pitch in her bra.

Re: England Womens Rugby
- Scott (31st Aug 2025  23:11:24)

Give over Dxxxhead and sit this one out will ya... This was supposed to be an upbeat post and something to celebrate by an English team that had won a game and hopefully on their way to a World Rugby title.
You've managed to completely change the tone. If you have nothing positive, intelligent, celebratory or funny to add maybe its time your nearest responsible adult took your smartphone or keyboard off of you and stopped letting you tap away unsupervised.

Don't bother replying anyway actually, further infantile retorts will just appear even more outdated and washed up.

Have a lovely Sunday evening everyone else, I hope you all had a lovely weekend๐Ÿ˜Š๐Ÿ‘

Chloe Kelly's behaviour demeaned women's sport on three counts:-

She felt it necessary to emulate the actions typical of men's football in order promote interest in women's football.

She felt it necessary to run around in her bra to get media attention.

It was a really cheap thing to do.

But hey, Scott, if you're happy to watch such behaviour who am I to criticise. If you can't engage in correspondence without going into meltdown when others have a different viewpoint maybe you should give it a rest. To reverse a saying I've heard all my life used by women aimed at men:- I'll leave you to watch twenty two women chasing balls around a field.

Have a nice day. ๐Ÿ˜€

Blah blah blah blah. I saw you wrote something but didn't read it๐Ÿคฃ

I look forward to the next English sporting achievement I can celebrate and post good vibes about๐Ÿ๐Ÿ’โšฝ๏ธ๐Ÿ‰๐Ÿ“๐Ÿธ๐Ÿฅ๐Ÿ๐ŸŽ๐Ÿฅ‡โœŒ๏ธ๐Ÿ‘๐Ÿ™Œ

Come on England.....Carry on being wonderful.

Have a wonerful day LiphookiansโœŒ๏ธ

Oh dear, Sinead Peach, shocking behaviour, if a male player said that to a female referee his career would be over now.
