Haslemere Road closed

Anyone any idea how long Haslemere Road is closed - no prior warning closed last night at mini roundabout - unable to access Square this AM - the diversion down the lane is horrendous - large lorries driving like mad because running late. Presume is because of Building work.

According to the AA Traffic website, there are 'temporary traffic signals due to emergency repairs and gas main work on B2131 Haslemere Road both ways at Chiltlee Manor'.

Just been up to the square utter chaos at the haslemere junction road closed to haslemere drivers not taking any notice and trying to go round the small roundabout not knowing where to go . Great fun .

ROAD STILL CLOSED AT MINI ROUNDABOUT TO HASLEMERE ROAD - so try to avoid if you can - it will be utter chaos.

Have just spoken to Parish Council Haslemere Road from mini roundabout - Likely to be closed until 25th August - if that helps anyone avoid this until then.
