Supermarket home delivery no receipts - Bush (1st Aug 2025  20:25:58) It's taken me while going through customer "service" of chat box, bot chat, phones reps and many email exchanges with various unnamed members of staff to learn that home deliveries have done away with paper receipts. Each providing a different non-answer. Turns out they have quietly withdrawn service using the environment excuse, where is customers refund for the cost of paper receipts withdrawn? They claim that the receipts are digitally available. Well, judging by their digital customer service being Down so often and other technical reasons why the receipt will not be available when you need it -it's another basic customer right being taken away from us. Who wants to store digital grocery receipts on a hard drive or cloud? Who wants to email begging for a copy (free, but only thus far)...

Re: Supermarket home delivery no receipts - Polly (2nd Aug 2025  13:50:50) Tesco did away with paper receipts ages. I get my receipt emailed to me prior to delivery with any substitution’s listed, a rare thing. On delivery any items can be returned for refund which the driver does there and then with an email sent to me. Any issues later and I ring customer services who are super efficient in my experience. They never quibble about anything. It’s an efficient, and courteous services all round. No complaints from me!!
