PC to TV cable advice
- Sharon (18th Feb 2012 - 19:09:11)

I want to connect my laptop PC to my TV, so I can watch iplayer, or online films - but I'm a bit of a novice about cables! I have a VGA connection on the PC and the TV, as well as HDMI on the TV. Which would be better - VGA to VGA or VGA to HDMI? Or is there no difference?

HI Sharon,
By far the easiest way is to fit a graphics card with an hdmi output. I've done this with my lounge and bedroom pcs and it just works - no further fiddling required. The graphics card i used cost about 30 pounds and the hdmi lead was 99p - all from Amazon. Drop me an email if you need some help.
