I have several single duvets clean and in good condition. Are there any local animal charities who could make use of them please.

I don't know about animal places but I know dunelm do a textile take back scheme where you can drop unwanted things off in their stores and clean pillows and duvets are accepted.
They do offer a postal service for other bedding but not larger items like duvets.
