New public consultation on Lowsley Farm highways proposals - Steve Miller (9th Feb 2012 - 12:36:49)
There is now a new opportunity for public comment on the proposed new roundabout near Griggs Green.and traffic calming measures on Longmoor Rd required for the access into the Lowsley Farm development.
The details have been posted on the EHDC website which will also now allow submission of comments through the site. The closing date is 20th February.
Although Longmoor Rd residents and objectors to the previous proposals have received letters notifying us about the new proposals and of the new opportunity for comment, it appears that EHDC have no plans to further publicise this change to the original planning submission. Liphook.co.uk is therefore likely to be the only way in which the wider community can be kept informed.

Update: The closing date for public comments has been put back until 22nd February

Does this mean that we have to comment again if we disagree with the whole scheme or do previous objections still count?

I would think that you only need to comment again where some or all of your original comments related to aspects of the original proposals that have been changed. In this case that is just the roundabout layout and the traffic calming measures.
Comments on other issues presumably remain valid and will be considered by EDHC planners in their evaluation.
Having said all that I am not an expert in planning matters and if you are concerned I suggest that you contact Paul Bowman at EHDC for definative advice.
