any MOT special offers about?

i need an MOT and hate to pay £54 in todays living of specail offers.
does any one know anyone locally?

dont believe everything you read, they were the ones that i phoned and quoted me £54.95 today !! no special offers there !!

| | | I was pointing out to you and Barry that there is no reason why £45 isn't sustainable as an MOT price, if Kwik Fit can do it for £35. I wouldn't travel that far for an MOT, in fact I use AMK at Passfield for mine. |

I thought the cost of MOT was a standard price everywhere, why should it be different? Do the mechanics wear designer label overalls?

MOT prices are suppose to be set prices but a garage can charge less although this would reduce their profit margin and then would have to find the extra money from somewhere else as although the price is reduced the garages overheads remain the same. (the garage still has to pay his mechanic an hours wage no matter what price he charges).
