Thinking of moving to liphook
- Jacky (20th Jan 2012 - 12:23:01)

We are thinking of moving to Liphook, we really like the look of the area. The area we have been looking at is Canada Way and Childerstone Close. I have noticed that there have been a few properties come onto the market in this part of Liphook and so I am just wondering why? Is this a part to be avoided for some reason?

Any advice would be much appreciated.

Hi Jacky

We live just off the Haslemere Road within walking distance to the village shops.
Canada way is a relatively new estate and as far as I am aware is a lovely little estate.
We have a great community spirit and every year the carnival committee organise a fabulous carnival and the local business mans association LiDBA organise a fantastic charity bike ride that raises thousands of pounds for local charities. I love Liphook and welcome you to join our lovely community.

Good luck in moving to Liphook.
There isn't really anywhere in Liphook to avoid in your price range (or any price range to be honest) it just depends on what you want. The two estates you mention are relatively modern and if that's what you're after they are fine. You might find more characterful properties with larger gardens on older more mixed developments but I'm sure you've trawled all the agents and websites and realise what's on offer.
Good luck with your move and I can assure you you won't regret moving to Liphook, a great place to live!

Hi,
I lived in Liphook for over thirty five years, then moved to the west country, but I could not settle there, so I moved back to Liphook just before Christmas, its the best thing I ever did.

It is a lovely village, plenty to do, you will like it here very much.

Jan
