i went out for a meal at the links last night for my daughthers 18th birthday and i have to say that the service was excellent, the food was outstanding as well. i would recommened this pub to anyone, with is welcoming atmosphere and staff. also they decorated the table fabulously without us even having to ask for decoration.
This pub is excellent and your missing out if you don't have a meal there because it is delicious.

Hello

I think the bubble has burst at the Links to be honest. The prices have gone up and the quality of food and service has gone down. I used to eat at the Links on a fairly regular basis but i have stopped as it just isn't as good as it used to be when it first re-opened and the following couple of years after that.
For example Ham egg and chips (plain pub food) is £9.95 at the Links and a pint of Guiness is £3.20!!! The special board never changes except for a rise in prices.
I think that this is an insult. I do not mind paying more for a quality product and service but i have not recieved it at the Links in a long time.
Its a shame as the Links is a good drinking pub with a good atmosphere, but the management has lost its why when it comes to the food.

Well we had lunch at The Links today and it was very enjoyable with excellent service.

And to cap it all, when we went back to the car park not only did we find we had a completely flat tyre, but we also found out that the curious black plastic bag which Mr Nelson had thought held a jack since buying the car...didn't....however our lovely waitress came out and lent us hers, so you can't really ask for better service than that. Thank you!!!

I agree with Tom, The Links is not the pub it was.

The prices are too high for food and drinks and the service not alot better.

What about the best restaurant in Liphook with the nicer staff: The Gurkha.

We have been eating there for a few years now and it gets out vote every time. The food is excellent and the staff couldn't be more friendly and helpful.

I agree with Eneida. The service is exceptional, and when ether I have been there the food is of very high quality. Tom – I think they have recently, 2 or so months ago, changed their menu. I have not been there since this change but someone has said that it is very nice. You pay for the quality of food and service you get!
