County Councillor Devolved Grant - Cllr. Ferris Cowper (16th Jan 2012 - 19:29:06) As your County Councillor, I have a budget each year to make grants to local organisations. They must be local to my Division, (Bramshott and Liphook, Headley and Grayshott). The deadline for me to submit them for payment is 29th. February so I need the completed form several days before that. If you think your organisation meets the following criteria, which will be applied strictly, then please email me for an application pack. A typical grant might be in the region of £1,000 but there are criteria thus; 1. The County requires that the applicant must be an organisation not an individual. It must have a bank account. 2. Both of us require the organisation to be local. I am more specific; it must reside in the division and benefit residents of this division only, (so far as is practical). If it is a branch of a national or regional organisation then the money must go to local people only and not be absorbed into the national or regional entity's funds. 3. I plan to have a different theme each year. For this year, (i.e.up to 29/1/12) it is the relief of deprivation. 4. Lastly it must be a grant for something specific, i.e. not a vague contribution to running costs but a thing or a defined project.
