Band/Disco - Michelle (29th Dec 2005 - 10:44:54) Hi All Just wondering if anyone can help me at all.........Am looking for a disco or band (maybe both) for a 70's theme Birthday Party we are having in February 2006. Am looking for someone who can play mainly 70's music with a few modern/party numbers thrown in as well. Have searched the internet and have found various dotted about the country but would prefer to use someone more local if possible and would prefer to go on recommendations! We play a lot of 70's stuff, as well as a few more modern songs. We are a party band, so we play popular covers rather than oroginal material. We are a 6 piece band, with 2 female vocals, 2 guitars, bass and drums. We can supply a PA and lights if necessary. We will have a demo CD in a couple of weeks, but can provide references and a gig (and song) list if you need to fix something and can't wait for our CD. We are all old enough to remember grooving in the 70's (though our lead singer was a bit too young to groove then!)
