Lloyds email scam - beware

I received an email this week purporting to come from Lloyds TSB requesting some information from me.
It was sufficiently dubious for me to ignore it, but I did, however, take a copy to Lloyds TSB in the village who confirmed that it was a scam.
Email deleted.
