Sorry, yes the quiz kicks off at about 9.00pm £2.00 to enter the quiz. We are taking subscriptions for next year, (due by 1st february 2012.) Watch the website notice board for news of upcoming events in the club next year. Including an exciting evening in april with Pompey legends Alan Knight and Andy Awford, when you will be invited to fire your questions at them. The evening will be in aid of charity. Donations from local businesses for the raffle gratefully accepted. For more details please ask the ed for my email address. Be there or be square!

Why have the club stewards been given notice to leave club.

Once again the members of LSC are not told anything by the committee despite the fact that they pay membership fees and are left in the dark.

Some more openness from the committee would be appreciated.

Why not asked a committee member and I'm sure they will inform you of the answer and if you are not happy with their answer why not become a committee member and help the club to keep it a float. Just remember like many clubs none of these people get paid. it's a thank less job.

hi, dave here (you will note that i have given my name and am not hiding behind an initial), the last contributor is right, the committee was elected by the membership to run the club on their behalf,(were YOU at the agm)? All a member has to do is write to the secretary and they are obliged to raise any matters with the committee and if necessary report back to the member, that is how it works, of course the said member will be required to give their name and not an initial, the committee is very open and makes decisions based upon what they decide is in the members best interests, if anyone is so concerned ask the secretary to be co-opted onto the committee and get involved rest assured the clubs best interests are being looked after! it is your club get involved!!

We are having a committee meeting this Sunday 18th November and will be discussing issues that have been raised since the last meeting, including the Steward's dismissal. If you have any questions please send them to me and I will relay them to the committee. My email address is misssheila@sky.com

Sheila
I do not believe that you have posted this message, after your statement to the Chairman on Monday night, in front of the members. This will also be raised by me at the committee meeting.
Only fully paid up members can raise questions which should be put in writing in this case to the Chairman Shaun Wright, as per the notice posted in the Club.

Why is the clubs buisness being aired on Liphook forum.
If you require members to contact you can you not put a letter up in the club, Committee are fully aware of the forthcoming meeting.
