Christmas Carols
- liz (20th Dec 2011 - 14:36:15)

I really enjoyed the carol singing in The Square last night ... and the mince pies, the mulled wine, the roasted chestnuts..... A big thank you to all the organisers and I hope you raised plenty of funds for the Liphook Community Laundry.

It was a very enjoyable evening singing carols yesterday. A lot of hard work had obviously gone into the evening - so thank you to Terry, Keith, Jan and Tony, Carol, Irene and everyone else who was helping. This is one of the occasions that make Liphook a great place to live. I also hope you made enough for a good donation to the laundary.

I am very pleased you enjoyed the Carol Singing on Monday evening, and I would like to thank everyone for coming along.
On behalf of Terry and myself I would also like to say a big Thank you to the Royal Anchor, Local businesses, Haslemere Town Band, Liphook Fire Service, Family and friends and of course Father Christmas who support us so loyally every year.
It is wonderful to see so many people around the Royal Anchor Tree which is the centre of our lovely Village, and we have a very special community spirit in Liphook with many good things going on all the time throughout the year.
Wishing you all a Happy & Peaceful Christmas to everyone.
