Date for your diary - FAB
- JohnG (20th Dec 2011 - 11:47:39)

The first Free Advice for Business drop-in event is taking place at 10 London Road, Liphook on Saturday 14th January 2012.

This initiative has been put together by a group of professionals/business people who live or work/operate in Liphook and surrounds. Attending the event is free - there is a prize draw and donations are welcomed to our chosen charity, the Kestrel FM Kids Trust.

All business owners and tradespeople are invited to come along and have a no-obligation chat on matters including accounting, banking and business loans, vehicle leasing, insurance, social media and sales, website design, cost management, IT, pensions and Sage software.

There will also be free presentations on the day by a bank on tips for securing business loans and from a specialist in using social media to promote your business - more details to follow.

Visit www.freeadviceforbusiness.co.uk. The event also has its own Facebook and Twitter pages.

Hope to see you on the day.

Just a reminder - the Free Advice for Business event is taking place this Saturday at 10 London Road from 10am to 4pm - look for the red banner. Any tradesperson or businessperson can come along on the day for no-obligation ad-hoc advice on accountancy and tax, insurance, website design, supplier reviews, vehicle leasing, social media and marketing, banking and business loans, pensions and investment planning and Sage software and training. There will be two presentations on the day - one from Graham Smith of Lloyds Bank on business finance and one from Sumi Olson on using social media to promote your business. The event is run by locally-connected business advisors. The advice on the day is free. The event is supporting the Kestrel Kids Trust. Please see www.freeadviceforbusiness.co.uk.

Start-ups are welcome to bring their business plan with them (at whatever stage of development) and the team will review it with you for free. SMEs and traders can bring in bills/contracts/policy documents and have the team go through them and see if there are ways you can save money or potential difficulties!
