Piano Tuner, Tree Surgeon and Logs - Mike & Anna (11th Dec 2011  09:50:55) Hello, We recently moved into the lovely Liphook and are looking for a couple of local recommendations. Can anyone suggest a piano tuner, a tree surgeon and a place to get some logs for our fire. By the way our first impressions of Liphook are all very positive. Re: Piano Tuner, Tree Surgeon and Logs - Mark (14th Mar 2012  10:55:19) I used the recommendation for the tree surgeon, as supplied here, & that went just ok.We were left with alot of clearing up and moving of what should have been 'manageable 'sized logs.!- The latter being a bit of a joke.They were HUGE TREE TRUNKS. However he also said he could fit & supply fencing,& this went disastrously wrong for us. He quoted for fence panels, [IN WRITING] and concrete posts,and then went on to to supply a kit self build fence,which looked hideous,and clearly was a much cheaper option for him,but NOT what we wanted or had agreed to,which was panels. The gravel boards had not been sunk into the ground,and were uneven. The posts did not enable panels to slot in,and there were no panels,as quoted for. the whole lot had to come down, and he did not return to complete the work. He is unreliable and does not work to what a customer wants All disappointing and very unprofessional.

I can highly recommend him. I have just used him again to take another tree down on our Close and he is excellent and very tidy. You wouldn't have known there had been a tree there.
