Millennium Hall Trustes
- john lush (6th Nov 2002 - 17:07:34)

Re the recent news about the proposed takeover of the hall and the now the false coments about the miss-managed finances, I feel that the whole situation has gone out of control and the local council is undermining the present occupiers, by spreading false gossip and balder-dash. This is to black mark the present owners and hope they will give it away with no questions asked. I say we will fight on so that liphook can be free from these council crooks.
The present owners have done a fantastic job of keeping the hall togeather only to be stabbed in the back by the corrupt local council.

I certainly think we deserve to know exactly what is going on, about time we were told the truth and this situation was resolved.

I am just amazed at the way the Hall has been treated i really am. The beginning of the end was of course the election of a mainly Conservative Council under Anna James. Lets hope the voters show how their feel and elect some progressive social democrats onto Council - the same people who gave us this wonderful hall in the first place.

The local council (i.e parish) shouldn't have any politically bias. It should contain people that really cares about the local community and not just use their position to boost their own ego's.
