Where to buy a Christmas Tree?
- Charley (3rd Dec 2011 - 14:18:48)

Hello,

Can anyone advise me on the best place to buy a Christmas Tree around here? Preferably ones that are reasonably priced!

Country Market ask for Paul.

We got ours from Prince's Garden Centre just down the old A3.

They had a great selection as I recall with efficient friendly service and, although it was not cheap, it was a good shape and we had no needle drop so we will use them again.

Happy Christmas all here

We pop up the A3 to Elstead to Oxenford Farm (come off the A3 at Milford and turn left at the roundabout at the top of the slip road - the farm is less than a minute on the right).

I must admit it isn't the cheapest place to buy trees (though not extortionate) but the atmosphere is lovely. The trees are sold in the farm courtyard and they have reindeer and animals in stalls for the children to see - turkeys, a bull, pigs etc. Good selection of trees and other things to buy in the old barn, like mistletoe etc. We've been going for years. Wear you wellies if it's been raining!

I have bought a tree from Princes Garden Centre in Rake for the pat few years and they are really good trees with very little needle drop, not cheap but will definitely last.

Tip from visiting them today...their small trees are £10 cheaper than the medium trees, but some of them are just as big if not bigger!
