Parish Council Elections

Personally I would vote for anyone (within reason) who can assure me they will remain on the Council for a reasonable time and will not resign a) Because the going gets tough b) In a hissy fit c) Because the particular issue of planning or whatever that they were interested in has been dealt with. People give their time for nothing and it's not easy I know, but candidates need to think deeply about how commited they really are. Each election costs the Parish around £9000 I believe.
