Proposed teachers' strike Wed 30th Nov - May D (24th Nov 2011 - 18:04:02) Does anyone know which of our schools are going to be affected this time ? May

Those striking do not have to let the school know until then! Handy for those of us who work eh! Can't arrange alternative childcare in advance because we may not know if the schools are open or not until we are in the playground! Lots of happy employers!!

Re: Proposed teachers' strike Wed 30th Nov - Jane G (25th Nov 2011 - 08:07:33) Bohunt School sent a letter to parents last week saying that they were unable to confirm at that time whether the school would be partially or fully closed but they did say to expect some disruption to normal service. The head also said that by the end of today he would confirm the arrangements for definite so parents would have some warning.
