2012 - Olympics, Jubilee and other events - Phelim McIntyre (22nd Nov 2011 - 15:29:01) I have posted earlier about the need to get planning for any community events next year for the Olympics and Queen Elizabeth 2nd's Diamond Jubilee. If people are interested in actually doing something, and want to rise above the back biting, an Quixotic attitudes that are weighing down the Parish Council since the elections earlier this year, there is a meeting to get the ball rolling at the Church Centre on Portsmouth Road, at 7.30 on Thursday 1st December. Please note, this is a meeting to discuss ideas of how the Parish of Bramshott and Liphook can come together and make the most of the opportunities presented by next year. If anyone comes with the attitude of attacking me, Mr Groves, Mr Gerrard, Mrs Hope, Ms Hoskins or anyone else, they will be asked to leave and the press will be given full permission to report what was said by whom.

Your pathetic attempts to continually undermine the present local council are now really becoming old hat, not forgetting the interspersing of your comments with the odd ‘extravagant’ word in the attempt to impress us all of your command of the English language. Quite frankly you were never enlightening or interesting in the first place, why anybody would wish to attend a meeting involving yourself or any of your conceived ideas for next year are totally beyond me. Still never mind you strike me as the type of individual who absolutely adores listening to his own voice therefore a good echo in the Church Centre should be assured, just on the off chance other like minded people do turn up, dont forget to take your Scrabble board along. By that you can count me out as well.

Hopefully Phelim you may get the message that perhaps not everyone thinks like you do...and when you post such messages on here it doesn't help your cause one little bit. If you do manage to organise anything, I also doubt you will get many people turning up, as I suspect you will only get like minded cronies to support you!
