Parish Council...dog poo problem

Dear Parish Councillors
You have probably read some of the threads on here about the problem of dog poo on some local roads which is causing distress to some residents.
Which of the PC committees would deal with such a problem and is there any funding that could be applied for in order to create and make some signage to put up around the village?
Alternatively, is there a local business that would like to support such a venture?

Why is it that the businesses have to support the village but the villagers dont support the businesses..should it be down to the dog owners to pay for signs in the way of being fined when caught.

It will be interesting to see which of our Councillors gets chosen to be in charge of dog poo...I take it you'll wait to make the decision until after the next election... ;)
