Christmas Window Competition - Liphook Business Initiative (18th Nov 2011 - 21:20:49)
Christmas is on its way and Liphook Business Initiative are excited to announce the launch of their First Christmas Window Competition
Judging will take place on the Monday 12 December 2011 and a trophy will be awarded to the best dressed window. My son delivered 63 entry forms to the shops and offices around the village ( Yes! we have at least that many shops and offices in The Square and Station Road). Currently we have 10 shops entered and hopefully there will many more by the entry deadline of next Friday 25 November.
Running alongside the the window competition will be a Treasure Hunt aimed at the younger children in the village. Each of the windows entered will have a named Christmas Character to identify, and the winning child will be picked at random from the correct entries. First Prize is a £40 Toys R Us Voucher kindly donated by Flowers In The Avenue and two runners up will receive £10 vouchers donated by A3 Sports.
The Treasure Hunt is open to all children under 13 on the 31 December 2011 and will run from 12 - 18 December 2011. Entry Forms will be delivered to the Junior & Infant Schools, and also the local nurseries prior to the event. There will also be a downloadable form available on www.liphookbusiness.co.uk once the final line up of is known.
So come on Liphook Shops and Offices lets make Liphook look fantastic this Christmas.

Don't forget the deadline for entering the Christmas Window Competition is this Friday 25th November, any entries after this date will not be included in the Children's Treasure Hunt.
