Anthony Nolan Bone Marrow Drive - Farnborough Leisure Centre -6th december 4.30 -08.30pm - charlie (4th Nov 2011 - 19:42:37) Hi All, A friend of a friends daughter has been diagnosed with leukamia. She is organising a bone marrow drive to see if a donor match can be found. Please see below for more details... My 5 year old daughter Hannah has a rare form of childhood cancer called Dendritic Cell Acute Myeloid Leukaemia. She needs a bone marrow transplant to save her life. Please can you spare half an hour of your time to come to our event, join the Anthony Nolan register and maybe be lucky enough to save a life? We are in desperate need of men aged 18-30 to join the register as they are the most suitable donors but only make up 12% of the bone marrow register. Don't worry if you don't fall into this category, WE STILL NEED YOU! Anyone, male or female, aged between 18-40 is eligible to join the register and you could be the one to save my baby girl. Please come and invite everyone you know to this event as it may be someone you know or someone they know who has the magic cells. I really hope you find a match for your daughter. I'm on the Anthony Nolan register and would really encourage anyone else, who can, to do so too.
