Playgrounds near Liphook
- NIc (24th Oct 2011 - 12:45:45)
Just wondered if anyone knew of any good outdoor playgrounds near here? I know Liphook new playground is great but just looking for a bit of variety! Don't mind driving for a bit (up to 20 min) Thanks for any ideas to keep my young kids entertained

Hello
We like Churt playground or Weyhill (near the co-op) which both have zipwires.
Or Applegarth farm shop has a very small one outside (animals, swings and a slide/treehouse), with the bonus that you can have tea and cake outside while they play!

I agree, Alice Holt is fabulous. Playgrounds there for little ones and slightly older kids, walks with various things to climb up and slide down, house on stilts, places to ride their bikes, as well as the terrifying wires at high level in the trees - forgotten what you call them. My grandchildren are beautifully exhausted when we return and go off to bed like little lambs!

Thanks everyone! Will try them out, have been to Secretts garden centre today and it was fab! Spend nearly all day there. Kids loved the tractor ride to the pumpkin fields and only cost £2 per pumpkin, then went and played on the tree house in the garden centre. Lockwood Donkey sanctuary were there today as well so had cookie decorating and singing! Well worth a visit.

Just a quick one, my husband took our daughter to Petersfield playgroundp last weekend and it was closed for rennovation, so don't want anyone having any wasted journeys.
He then took her to the one in Clanfield which is apparently very good!

Have you tried the Anchor playground? It's fun and you can get a beer and some quality food whilst you supervise your little angels.
