Carnival Marshals

Saturday 29th October sees the highlight of Liphook's social calendar when the Carnival Queen and her Princesses are crowned in the village square and the procession of floats, bands and historic vehicles moves off through the village.
Work on many floats has already started in much secrecy and indications are that this will be one of the biggest and best processions for many years.
Organising the successful and safe parade through the village is vital to the safety of participants and spectators alike. Liphook Carnival Committee and the police need your help to assist in this vital task.
Can you spare a few hours on the night between 5.30pm and 8.30pm to assist with crowd control and man road closures?
