Lowsley Farm more development to come ?
- mike (11th Oct 2011 - 15:21:40)

Residents in the vicinity of The Avenue, Headley Road and Longmoor Road need to be vigilant.

I wonder if anyone has examined the Lowsley Farm application, and noticed that there is a discrepancy between the 'Application Site' and the various other Site Plans in the supporting documentation

Look at HDA site plans and the DAS on page 6, and you will see that the field to the east is clearly marked as 'ownership boundary'. I wonder therefore whether the field immediately to the east of their proposed SANGS field is also in their ownership, or even if they have an option to buy this field, as it would clearly be a candidate for yet another lot of development if this first round gets consented.

Just looking at the existing proposal for 155 houses, this other field, to which the developers would then have easy access to, could potentially accommodate a further 200 or more houses.

The developers would claim that this was 'infil' and thereby justify even more development in this congested part of the village.

I think that we all need to be very vigilant about what the Lowsley Farm developers have in mind for this part of Liphook.
