Comb honey
- Paul E. (9th Oct 2011 - 12:15:42)

Does anybody know of a local source of natural honey in it's comb? It seems to have disappeared from the face of the earth if the supermarkets are anything to go by! Same goes for soft herring roes!

Dear Paul.

Ask Brad in Habit Sollutions Computer shop in Liphook as he sells fresh honey from his own bees. He may be able to supply you with some Honey Combe. I think his opening time is 10am.

Karin (Larinka Apiaries) sells comb honey.
She attends a number of the local Farmers' Markets, and her jars of honey are sold in the cafe Number 26, not sure if they have the combs. But she only lives in the square, her number is 723859.

I found some liphook honey at the champneys in forest mere. They have a shop inside which sells honey separately or as a gift set with the comb inside one of the jars.

To the gentleman looking for soft Herring Roes
I purchased some from Waitrose in Peterfield.
It's not on the counter, but if you ask for it they sometimes have it in the fridge.
