Dog dirt on Headley Rd near Tunbridge Crescent
- Fiona (7th Oct 2011 - 14:09:55)
Please can the owner of the dog who keeps regularly fowling the pavement between Tunbridge Crescent and the Headley Road pedestrian crossing clean up their mess or take their dog elsewhere for a walk. There is a regular pile of mess at some point along this stretch, often in the middle of the pavement but often also on the grass verge near the pedestrian crossing.
This morning while walking my children to school my buggy ended up covered in dog dirt. Numerous school children and buggies use this stretch of pavement and it is disgusting to have to dodge this mess on a daily basis. Often the mess ends up squashed so I doubt we're the only people to have suffered. Yesterday we had to avoid a large dog urinating right in front of us on the dropped kerb at Tunbridge Crescent!
I will be reporting the mess but please please please clean up.

Yes, I have been dodging the same pile! Unfortunately not everyone manages to dodge it. My daughter said that her classromm spelled of dog poo yesterday, because someone must have stood in some. Not pleasant - and now the classroom will probably have to be 'deep-cleaned'.

My daughter had dog mess on her shoes yesterday, picked up some where alog Headley Rd / Avenue and walked it in to her year one class at Liphook Infants. Disgusting. Posts about dog mess problems are frequent on this site, it's obviously a major problem. Nobody seems to care or do anything about it. Is there anything more the parish council could do?
